To ensure Medow works smoothly during your Telehealth consultations, it’s important to use the right setup. You can then make a consult Telehealth in one of two ways: set the consult mode to Telehealth when you create or edit the consult, or switch it from the dashboard using the three-dot menu (this will automatically regenerate the output). If needed, you can also apply Medow’s ‘Telehealth’ Smart Edit to quickly adjust wording in your letter, for example changing “I saw” to “I spoke to”. See below
| Telehealth scenario | ✅ Do | ❌ Don’t |
|---|---|---|
| Phone call | - Use Medow on your computer or tablet (not on your mobile phone). |
Place your phone on speaker mode so Medow can hear the consult.
Keep the phone near you and the microphone unobstructed.
Speak at a normal volume. | - Use headsets or headphones.
Place your microphone too close, or too far, from the telephone speaker. | | Virtual meeting (E.g., Zoom, Google Meet) | - Run Zoom app + Medow in a browser, or use separate browsers.
Incognito or a second profile is fine for separation.
Play consult audio through your computer speakers. | - Run Zoom and Medow in the same browser session.
Route meeting audio exclusively to headphones. |
