Overview

Medow's template editor lets you shape exactly how your clinical letters and reports are structured, formatted, and worded so every document sounds the way you want it to, every time.

This guide walks you through editing a template. Whether you're a clinician fine-tuning your own preferences or a practice admin managing templates across the team, the steps are the same.

Understanding the editor

The template editor has three panels:

Step 1: Upload your sample letters

Before you edit your template, particularly if you haven't done so already, Medow can learn and copy how you write in your unique style by uploading sample letters (ideally three or more).

  1. Open one of the templates.
  2. Click on the “Samples” button to upload sample letters of the same consult type as your template, that represent your typical writing style.
  3. Medow will analyse your formatting preferences, clinical tone, and terminology and automatically generate your personalised template and style guide.

Tip: Hand pick three samples that represent your highest quality letters that ‘sound’ most like you.

Step 2: Add a section to your template

  1. Browse the available blocks in the left panel.
